If you're not feeling up to baking the cake yourself, just run to your neighborhood Costco. Make sure you specify that you want no decorations on the cake. They always leave a white border around the cake that you can scrape off and color to match the cake. My friend has hit me up for two years in a row to do these cakes for school events. The first was a Mother/Son pirate night and this one was for a Father/Son BMX night. I didn't have much time to be creative or decorate the cakes, so this is the result. It just goes to show you what you can do in a pinch to make it a little more special. The Wheels of Freestyle Cake was the logo for the company that did they bike show that night. Anyway, she was happy and they only took me a couple hours to do all three of them. It's a great option.

Man that is cool...and way easier! But, dont be fooled people it is not that easy. Shelley just makes it look easy! making plain cakes look like that is not normal. Only people with super powers can pull it off. Shelley you make everything look better!
